Welcome to Island Lights Bungalow.
Experience a lifestyle you may never wish to leave.
Our little piece of paradise is situated on beautiful Aore Island which is just a short 10 minute boat ride from Espiritu Santo, Vanuatu’s largest island.
We have 80 metres of shady, secluded beach front where you can swim in our crystal clear waters , go snorkeling, relax at our Nakamal, have a BBQ, or just sit and relax, maybe read a book in our swinging chairs, with a cold drink in your hand……..your choice.
At night, sit out and marvel at the amount of stars you can see or perhaps watch out for the fireflies that flit around the garden on a breezy balmy night.
Whatever you wish to do, relax and enjoy stress free “island time”.
Your bungalow is selfcontained with a Queen size bed, modern bathroom, small kitchenette, fridge and BBQ. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities. We have internet access and also movies to watch if you so desire.
There is a washing machine and ironing facilities available. All linen and towels are supplied.
Should you be adventurous, then perhaps you would like to go riding on our complimentary pushbikes and discover what Aore is really about and see some relics from the war.
If you prefer the mechanical type of transport that doesn’t take quite as much effort then we have available quad bikes or a buggy. As there is limited roads and hardly any traffic, you won’t get lost or find driving difficult.
If you wish to go out for meals, there is Aore resort, just a few kilometres down the road who serve delicious lunches and dinners. Aore Coffee shop is open on a Saturday morning for a great coffee, breakfast or snack and an entertaining catch up with the locals. They also do interesting coffee tours.
We have a first class scuba diving centre, situated on Aore. Dive the world famous President Coolidge and other wrecks as well as the pristine waters of Cindy’s Reef.
We have boat boys who can take you across to Santo to shop for your supplies, visit the daily fresh vegetable market, and find any souvenirs you may want. Whilst on Santo there are blue holes to visit, lovely beaches and of course Port Olry, where you can purchase Coconut Crab for lunch.
Come and say hello, stay awhile, but be careful!!!! Once you experience our island lifestyle you may never want to leave.
