TROPICANA MOTEL & BACKPACKER ACCOMMODATION
An recently-opened accommodation house for the budget traveler looking for those small extras to make their holiday more enjoyable. The Tropicana Motel is only a five-minute walk from the town centre of Luganville in Espiritu Santo, and a three-minute walk from the produce market.
Tropicana Motel offers a very modern kitchen for self-catering. Facilities include: refrigerator, TV, and free Internet. Our in-house Ni-Vanuatu staff are on call to assist, and ensure that your time with us will be memorable. All our rooms, including the dormitory, have hot water, insect screens, and are fan cooled for your comfort.
Owners, Kenneth and Irene, have also owned and operated Santo Island Tours for sixteen years. We can organise individual, customised tours for you, or help you choose from the many well-established tours of our island's renowned beaches, blueholes and historical sites.
Tropicana Motel is less than a ten-minute drive to the airport, a short walk to the Bank, Post office, and supermarkets, close to all dive and tour operators. The ideal location for visitors to stay in Espiritu Santo.

Kenneth is originally from Hog Harbour on the East Coast of Santo, and has extended family members at Champagne Beach and Lonnoc Beach Bungalows. We can offer you alternative accommodation, also owned by ni-Vanuatu, assuring you of a different experience right on the waters edge. These beaches are approximately one-hour drive from Luganville.
Aore Island Resort, across the Second Channel is another way to spend a pleasant afternoon with lunch and a cold beer, and is always a favourite with visitors to Santo.
Splash Extreme offers many varied activities including: horse-riding, yachting, quad-bikes rides, and is sure to be a hit with visitors looking for an alternate Santo experience.
Air Vanuatu offers direct flights to Santo from Brisbane and Sydney. The approximately two & a half hour flight will get you a taste of paradise in a very short travelling time.
